You arrive via train, car, or airplane and cannot find Graefenhainichen? Anything on this subject can be found in the category Arrival.
As previous year, there will be a bank machine on the festival area. It will be located directly near the main entrance. In addition to that, there are three bank machines in Graefenhainichen, about 5 km away from the festival area.
Should there be tickets still available for box office sale, we will let you know in mid June. For that reason we recommend buying your tickets in advance for the favorable price of 94 Euro plus pre-sale charge. Tickets at the box office, if any are left, will be considerably more expensive. You can easily order your tickets in our online shop.
Every year independent agencies in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland organize bus tours to the splash! Festival. We will keep an updated a list of bus tours known to us online.

Besides the area for just camping you also have the possibility to pitch your tent directly besides your car on the parking & camping area. Please follow the signs to find the suitable place for you. The camping areas will open on Thursday 12 p.m. The charge for the camping site is included in your festival ticket. Please remember that you won’t be allowed onto the camping site without a valid ticket or festival ribbon. So, find a nice spot, cuddle with your neighbor, and have a good time.
Please consider that you will not be able to move your car off the area for the entire duration of the festival. In other words, “Parking and Camping” is only an option for those, who depart on Monday.
For organizational reasons, the parking place for caravans is located on the parking space directly adjacent to the festival area. Please follow the signs. The caravan parking space is meant to be used by any vehicles of the categories camper, trailer, bus… Unfortunately, due to technical problems, there will be no water and power supply.
Children under the age of 12 can enter the festival free of charge. Please save infants and small children from the strains of a festival. The legal requirements for the protection of minors are in force at the festival.
Domestic animals are not allowed anywhere in the festival area. Rocky, Polly, and Garfield don't like festivals!
The narcotics law (Betäubungsmittelgesetz – BtMG) of the Federal Republic of Germany is in force at the splash! Festival as well.
At this point we are not sure if there will be an official DVD for the splash! Festival 2010. If there will be one we will notify you immediately on this web site. Previously produced DVDs are available in our online shop (while stocks last).
You will receive your festival ribbon in exchange for your ticket when entering the camping sites. Entering the camping sites without a festival ribbon won’t be possible.
At the medical service points you can find help for any kind of little ailment. Please take care of yourself and the other splash! visitors and call for medical help when necessary. Fixed medical service stations are marked in your map of the festival area.
There are food stands throughout the entire festival area leaving hardly any culinary wishes unfulfilled and surely are an alternative to canned ravioli.
Garbage is a tiresome subject and unfortunately growing year by year. Annoyingly there are no discounts when it comes to garbage disposal but only a steady increase in prices. Please keep the festival area clean and take the garbage you bring with you back with you. In case you need additional garbage bags, there will be enough of them available at the splash! merchandise stand or at the box offices. Please help yourself and us to finally make the splash! a cleaner festival.
Glass bottles and other glass containers are allowed on the camping site but we do ask you to avoid them. The danger of injury from broken glass is very high. Returnable containers are more environmentally friendly and easier to transport.
Graffiti is part of the Hip-Hop culture and the splash! Festival. We would like to point out, however, that it is only permitted in the places specifically designed for the purpose. Please remember that so we can enjoy the splash! Festival on the Pouch peninsula for another few years to come. Please save the house owners in the region from your signature in memory of a great weekend. Illegal graffiti and tags in the festival area will be considered willful damage to property and punished as such.
Persons holding a disabled person card with the addendum B are allowed to bring an escort to the festival at no charge.
Info points are located on the camping site as well as inside the festival area. They are marked on the map of the area, which you can download on this site. We try our best to keep you updated on changes and additions.
We are planning to have an internet tent ready for you. As soon as we have finished planning we will let you know on our site. Please leave your expensive electronic equipment at home.
Lost items can be handed in to the staff at the splash! Merchandise stand. Items which are not collected will be delivered to the main lost and found office (Lost and Found office in the Town Hall, Markt 1, 06773 Gräfenhainichen, Frau Röhrborn, Tel.: 034953 / 35740, einwohnerallgemein@graefenhainichen.de.
We will provide luggage lockers at the entrance to the festival area this year.
The best places to meet are the info points or merchandise stands. They can be easily distinguished and you do not end up waiting around different kebab stands. The places are marked in your map.
The splash! merchandise stand can be found directly behind the main entrance in the middle of the line of trader's stands. Of course it is marked in our map. Feel free to browse our online store during the times when there is no festival.
The parking spaces and camping sites are open from Thursday 12 p.m. until Monday 10 a.m. Entrance is only possible with a valid ticket or ribbon. The festival area is open from Friday to Sunday from 2 p.m. until 5 a.m.
The parking lots are located directly beside the B107 and are signposted. Please do not leave your garbage on the parking lots. The parking lots will open on Thursday 12 p.m. The fee for parking is already included in your festival ticket.
Photo cameras and digital cameras are allowed into the festival area. Video cameras are better left at home (a cell phone or digital photo camera is not a video camera!). For bringing professional photo and video equipment (recorders, telephoto lenses, tripods, et al.) a special permit is required.

The legal requirements for the protection of minors are in force at the festival, on the camping site and in all places belonging to the festival. Children or young people under the age of 16 are only allowed to the festival in the company of a parent, legal guardian, or person officially assigned legal responsibility.
Young people between the age of 16 and 18 have to leave the festival at 24h unless they are in the company of a legal guardian or person officially assigned legal responsibility for the duration of the festival. Written proof is required and has to be produced when asked to do so. The pdf form is available for download on this site.
There will be a number of showers available at the camping site. The fee per shower is 2,00 Euro. In return the showers will be kept clean and we ask you to help keep them that way. Makes sense, doesn't it?
Swimming is only allowed in specifically designated places. Please mind your own safety and be considerate towards others. Don't go swimming under the influence of alcohol or drugs. SAFETY FIRST!
There will be shuttle busses going from the train station in Gräfenhainichen directly to the festival area and back. The exact times for departures will be announced in time. Please note the signs at the train station in Gräfenhainichen.
Violence leads to a prohibition of the festival and will not be tolerated! Any person damaging stages, tents, fences, other persons or property will be banned from entering the festival and will have to accept legal consequences. We want a peaceful splash! Festival for many years to come.
